Enter Shikari’s latest song “Live Outside” debuted yesterday.  Within moments, social media was abuzz; fans calling it ‘the perfect summer song’.  But as those familiar with the band know all too well, lyrical genius Rou Reynolds never met a loaded lyric he didn’t like.  And with today’s video release, true to form, it’s clear Reynolds and his equally talented bandmates are, figuratively, frolicking in a field of poison.

With appearances by Chris Batten (bass), Rob Rolfe (drums) and Rory Clewlow (guitar) and Reynolds himself, the video –realistically– touches on a world where happiness often comes via escapism, deviously provided by Big Pharma.  Quickly, the viewer/listener realizes the delightful, “commercially appealing” tune itself is a metaphor for this faux happy, often times twisted world in which we live.  Vintage Shikari.  Check video out HERE.

Also announced — their anticipated album’s name and release date:  “The Spark” hits September 22nd (thoughtfully a few days before my birthday; thank you, boys) and the tour begins November 16th in Liverpool (a hot town, I hear from band insiders).   Like Christmas in summer, we even have the tracklisting.

If you haven’t already, listen to this band’s evolution starting from their debut album “Take To The Skies” up to their current offerings, including the brilliant “The Mindsweep”.  They’re truly leaders of the new music scene.  If you think it’s all been done before, and there’s no such thing as a musical pioneer in this day and age, think again.  –Juliet

Along with the whole thing that appears to be building throughout this specific subject material, your points of view are actually relatively stimulating. Nevertheless, I appologize, because I can not subscribe to your whole theory, all be it radical none the less. It appears to everyone that your comments are actually not completely validated and in reality you are your self not really totally convinced of the assertion. In any case I did take pleasure in reading it.

Heya! I know this is somewhat off-topic but I needed to ask. Does building a well-established blog like yours take a lot of work? I am completely new to writing a blog but I do write in my journal every day. I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my experience and views online. Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for new aspiring bloggers. Thankyou!

There are definitely a number of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to deliver up. I offer the thoughts above as common inspiration however clearly there are questions like the one you carry up where a very powerful factor can be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, however I’m sure that your job is clearly recognized as a good game. Both girls and boys really feel the affect of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
